Whytecliff Park
Whytecliff Park is one of the most popular dive sites near Vancouver. It is an easily accessible shore dive location with ample parking (though it does get busy in the summer) and dives for beginners to pros. You’ll find a lot of scuba courses happening here due to it’s closed in bay which makes it easier for new diver.
Whytecliff is a protected marine park that boasts a lot of amazing sea life. Harbor seals are spotted regularly. King crabs, octopus, squid, lingcod, sea stars, wolf eels, nudibranchs, and rockfish are only some of the amazing creatures you can find year round. Dogfish are spotted regularly in the summer months. White sided dolphins, orcas, and six gill sharks have also been spotted in the area on occasion!
